Pendant with Two Ravens, carved from Jet
When my client's husband died she wanted a significant pendant to house some of his ashes.
We explored symbols and events in their long partnership.
Ravens were chosen as they were always present in their lives and represent the passion her husband had for pushing boundaries and achieving above the expected.
The 2 ravens that come together as a heart hold between them and urn with lotus blossom- a flower which grows from the mud and water emerging into a beautiful flower, symbolizing human potential.
The ravens have eyes of pearl for tears and the ring of the pendant is the husband's wedding ring.
The birds are enclosed in gold which housed the ashes placed during a private ceremony.
Circle for Sri Aurobindo and the Mother
Designed using the traditional symbol of Aurobindo's Ashsram this pendant extends the mothers belief in colour to precious sapphires with a mother of pearl centre housing a flawless diamond.
